Family Finance Snapshot helps families manually track financial snapshots over time on iPhone and Mac with local data, backups, reports, private iCloud sync, and optional iCloud sharing.
Common Questions
- How do I add family data? Add family members, add banks to each member, then create checkpoints with savings and fund account values.
- Can one bank have multiple real accounts? Yes. Enter multiple numbers in the app's calculator-style account input and the app will sum them for the mapped savings or fund account.
- How does iCloud sync work? The admin can sync data across their own iPhone and Mac when both devices use the same Apple Account and iCloud is enabled.
- How does sharing work? The admin can invite viewers through iCloud sharing. Viewers can refresh shared data but cannot edit family finance data or import backups.
- Can I back up my data? Yes. Use Export JSON Backup. You can also export a CSV report for review outside the app.
- Does the app support other currencies? Version 1 uses SEK.
