Family Finance Snapshot is designed to keep family finance data private. The app does not use advertising, analytics, third-party tracking, or a developer-operated backend service.
Data You Enter
The app stores family member names, bank names, account balance snapshots, checkpoint dates, backup files, and report exports that you create. This data is used only to provide the app's finance tracking features.
Local Storage
Family finance data is stored locally on your iPhone or Mac. You can export a JSON backup or CSV report when you choose. Exported files are controlled by you and may be saved or shared using system document and file features.
Sign in with Apple
The app uses Sign in with Apple for account access. Apple may provide the app with an Apple user identifier and, depending on your choice, your name or email address. This information is used only for sign-in and family member linking inside the app.
Face ID, Touch ID, and Local Authentication
The app can use Face ID, Touch ID, your device passcode, or your Mac password to unlock access locally. Biometric data is handled by Apple's operating systems and is not available to the app or the developer.
iCloud Sync and Sharing
If you choose to sync your own devices, the app uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services to copy snapshot data between devices signed in with the same Apple Account. If you choose to share a family finance space, iCloud sharing lets invited viewers access shared snapshot data. Shared and synced data is stored in iCloud and accessed only through Apple's systems. The developer does not operate a server for this data.
Data Collection by the Developer
The developer does not collect, sell, or share personal data from this app. The app does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
Children's Privacy
The app is intended for general family finance tracking and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
